OUR MISSION
Watchman is a non-partisan platform documenting real-world experiences across Britain, with a focus on verified reporting, public submissions, and community-led journalism.
We publish carefully reviewed public submissions, including video footage, images and first hand testimony, highlighting the impact of migration in the UK, pressures on public services and wider social and political issues. Coverage includes small boat crossings, asylum seekers, housing pressures, NHS strain and the effects of UK migration policy on local communities.
While Watchman gives particular attention to the impact of large scale migration, it also examines a wide range of social and institutional issues affecting everyday life in the UK.
All submissions undergo a verification process to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance before publication.
Watchman does not endorse harassment, discrimination, or unlawful activity, and protects contributor anonymity where necessary.
Our objective is to support transparency and accountability in UK public life by documenting evidence, amplifying real stories from communities, and enabling informed discussion on immigration, British politics and institutional performance.
